  • The Becke BU4000 is a high-performance enterprise-grade converged communication platform that integrates data, voice and video into a single solution, ideally designed for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). It caters to professional communication needs across government and enterprise call systems, commercial call centers, dispatch centers and other scenarios. Powered by a SIP softswitch core with an integrated narrow and broadband design, it ensures high communication efficiency, low operational costs and flexible scalability to meet customized business requirements of different users.

    Seamless Connectivity & Compatibility

    Seamless Connectivity & Compatibility

At its core, the BU4000 excels in seamless and reliable communication integration for diverse enterprise scenarios. Its main control modules are fully compatible with mainstream IMS/NGN platforms, IP-PBX systems and SIP servers, supporting the installation of Asterisk, Elastix, trixbox, 3CX and other SIP servers as well as VOS VoIP operation platforms for flexible system docking.
All modules are interconnected via high-speed Ethernet, and the platform links to PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) or private network voice switching equipment through digital trunks, analog trunks and broadband SIP trunks, realizing smooth data and voice transmission inside and outside the enterprise. Business modules connect to the main control unit via SIP signaling, ensuring stable protocol-based communication and perfect compatibility with mainstream communication systems, which greatly enhances the overall operational efficiency of enterprise communication networks.

    Modular Design & Scalable Configuration

The BU4000 features a highly flexible modular design with a configurable hardware structure, including a chassis, switch boards, main control modules and business modules that users can customize according to their actual needs. The platform is equipped with 2 main control module slots, 9 business module slots and 2 power supply slots, with all modules connected to the backplane via dedicated communication connectors and high-speed Ethernet, supporting hot swap for switch and business modules for convenient maintenance and expansion.

It offers a full range of optional single boards for diverse business needs: CSU-F (100M switch board) and CSU-G (1000M switch board) for network access; CCU-I-KABYLR main control board with Intel Kaby Lake R quad-core processor for stable system operation; AIU-8/16 for FXO/FXS channels, MIU for magneto telephone interfaces, DTU for T1/E1/PRI interfaces, ACU for audio input and output, and RIU for wireless intercom interfaces. Empty slots can be fitted with dummy panels for dust protection, and the platform supports 1,000 to 10,000 users with dual main control boards for hot standby to ensure uninterrupted operation.

    Scalable Configuration

    Integrated Converged Communication Performance

The BU4000 delivers outstanding integrated communication performance, combining the functions of a VoIP gateway and an IP-PBX in one chassis to realize all-in-one data, voice and video communication. Its X86 architecture main control boards run independently as an IP-PBX system, supporting both Linux and Windows operating systems to adapt to different enterprise IT environments.
The platform’s rich business modules cover analog and digital voice, audio broadcasting and wireless intercom, meeting the multi-scenario communication needs of government and enterprise call systems, commercial call centers and dispatch centers. Business boards (excluding ACU and RIU) automatically identify initial IP addresses by slot number, simplifying system configuration and reducing the learning curve for administrators. This integrated design eliminates the need for multiple independent communication devices, streamlining the enterprise communication architecture and effectively cutting down hardware and maintenance costs.

    Reliable Operation & Easy Deployment

Built for stable long-term operation in standard enterprise environments, the BU4000 features robust hardware performance with a 4U standard chassis (176.3mm H * 435.8mm W * 330mm D) that fits seamlessly into IEC standard 19-inch server racks, without occupying excessive space in computer rooms. It supports a wide AC input voltage range of 100V~240V at 50/60Hz, with a maximum output power of 400W and a full-configured maximum power consumption of 340W, adapting to different power supply environments.

The platform operates stably at a long-term working temperature of 0°C~45°C (short-term -5°C~55°C) and can be stored at -40°C~70°C with 5%~95% non-condensing humidity, withstanding common enterprise environmental variations. Its modular hardware design allows for quick installation, configuration and disassembly of all modules, and the streamlined wiring further reduces on-site deployment difficulty. The whole system can be put into use rapidly, realizing fast deployment of enterprise converged communication systems.

    Government & Enterprise Application Scenarios

    Conclusion

The Becke BU4000 is a reliable and versatile enterprise-grade converged communication platform that combines modular design, high integration and seamless connectivity. Tailored for SMEs across government and enterprise call systems, commercial call centers, dispatch centers and other scenarios, it meets the demands of efficient daily communication and flexible business expansion. With its stable operation, broad compatibility with mainstream communication platforms, and customizable hardware configuration, the BU4000 streamlines enterprise communication infrastructure, reduces operational costs and serves as a practical and scalable solution to enhance the overall communication efficiency of small and medium-sized enterprises.

Q

What is ATEX?

A

ATEX is the abbreviation of ATmosphères EXplosibles, a set of European Union (EU) directives and standards that regulate equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
These standards are designed to ensure that machinery, electrical devices, and related components do not become ignition sources in environments where flammable gases, vapors, mists, or combustible dusts may be present. ATEX applies to both equipment manufacturers within the EU and those exporting products to the EU market.

Q

What is IECEx?

A

IECEx is the abbreviation of the IEC System for Certification of Equipment for Use in Explosive Atmospheres. It is an international certification system developed and managed by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), aimed at facilitating the global trade of equipment and components used in potentially explosive environments.
The core objective of the IECEx system is to establish a unified set of standards and certification procedures that are recognized worldwide. This eliminates the need for manufacturers to obtain multiple separate certifications for different markets, thereby reducing technical barriers to trade and ensuring product safety consistency across regions.

Becke Telcom specializes in industrial explosion-proof comms for rail, tunnel, oil & gas, and marine sectors, offering PAGA, SOS, and IP telephones with integrated PA, intercom, and calling.
