  • The i33V/i33VF is a specialized SIP video access control product developed to meet the needs of the security industry, integrating multiple functions to deliver comprehensive security and communication solutions. It supports two installation types—one designed for stable mounting on surfaces and the other for seamless integration into door structures—making it adaptable to various installation requirements. With high reliability and premium audio-visual performance, this device combines access control, intelligent security, audio/video intercom, and broadcasting capabilities in a single unit, making it a versatile choice for both indoor and outdoor security scenarios.

    i33V/i33VF Front View

Core User Interface and Access Control Modes

Equipped with a user-friendly digital keypad and a backlit display, the device ensures easy operation even in low-light environments. The keypad includes 12 standard numeric keys for inputting codes or door numbers, plus 3 dedicated function keys: "C" for dialing, "K" for activating password mode, and "B" for backspacing to correct input errors. The 128×48 resolution monochrome dot-matrix display synchronously shows the door number entered by visitors, allowing for real-time verification of input accuracy. If a mistake is made during entry, users can press the "B" key to clear the incorrect information and re-enter the correct door number before pressing "C" to call the property owner for remote access approval.
In terms of access control, the device supports three flexible opening methods to suit different usage scenarios. Local password access enables authorized users to unlock via a pre-set numeric code; RFID/IC card access allows quick entry by swiping a registered card, with support for up to 5,000 RFID/IC cards to accommodate large user groups. Additionally, remote DTMF access lets property owners or administrators grant entry remotely through DTMF signals, adding convenience for managing access when not on-site.

    High-Quality Audio and Video Performance

For visual identification and communication, the device features a built-in 2-megapixel high-definition camera paired with an infrared 补光灯 (infrared fill light), ensuring clear capture of visitor images even in low-light or dark environments. A key highlight is its support for dual video streams: one optimized for high-quality monitoring (ideal for 24/7 surveillance) and the other for smooth SIP video calls (ensuring stable real-time communication between visitors and property owners). This dual-stream design balances monitoring clarity and call fluency, meeting both security and communication needs.
On the audio front, the device is fitted with a 3W speaker and supports Opus and AEC (Acoustic Echo Cancellation) algorithms. The powerful speaker delivers loud, clear sound, while the AEC algorithm and background noise reduction function eliminate echo and suppress ambient interference—ensuring that audio during intercoms is crisp and easy to understand, even in noisy outdoor environments.

    Robust Protection and Environmental Adaptability

Designed to withstand harsh outdoor conditions, the device boasts excellent protective performance. It holds an IP65 ingress protection rating, meaning it is completely dust-tight and resistant to water jets from any direction—effectively preventing dust accumulation and water damage in rainy or dusty environments. Additionally, it meets the IK10 vandal resistance standard, capable of withstanding strong impacts (such as from blunt objects) without functional damage, making it suitable for high-traffic or public areas prone to accidental collisions or intentional vandalism.

To adapt to extreme temperature variations, the device features a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 70°C. This allows it to function normally in frigid winter conditions (such as in cold northern regions) and scorching summer heat (including hot southern areas), without performance degradation due to temperature fluctuations. A built-in tamper detection switch adds an extra layer of security: if the device is forcibly disassembled or tampered with, it triggers an alert to prevent unauthorized modifications or damage.

    i33V/i33VF High-Quality Audio and Video

    Expansion Capabilities and Compatibility

The device offers strong expansion potential to integrate with broader security systems. It supports the ONVIF protocol, enabling seamless connection with third-party Video Management Systems (VMS). This integration allows for 24/7 real-time monitoring and video recording of the door area, facilitating centralized management of surveillance footage and post-event review.
It is equipped with 2 door contact sensor interfaces, which can be connected to external door contact sensors. If a door remains open beyond the set time after being unlocked, the sensor triggers an audible alarm to remind users to close the door—preventing security risks caused by unattended open doors. For high-security areas (such as prisons, bank vaults, or confidential storage rooms), the device supports connection to an external Wiegand card reader, enhancing access control security for critical locations.
In terms of power supply, the device offers dual options: PoE (Power over Ethernet) and 12V DC power. PoE simplifies installation by transmitting both data and power over a single Ethernet cable, reducing the need for separate power wiring; the 12V DC option provides a backup power solution for scenarios where PoE is unavailable. For large-scale deployments, the device supports automatic provisioning via DHCP, TR069, and SIP PNP protocols—enabling centralized configuration and management of multiple devices, reducing manual setup workload and improving deployment efficiency. It also supports integration with third-party systems, allowing it to be part of a larger intelligent building or security ecosystem.

    Technical Specifications

Key technical parameters of the device further highlight its performance and versatility: it supports 2 SIP lines for stable communication; enables IP peer-to-peer calling for direct audio/video interactions; and supports the RTSP protocol for flexible video streaming. It delivers 720P high-definition video for clear visuals and supports G.722 high-definition audio for premium sound quality. Internally, it houses 2 relays for controlling external devices (such as electric locks) and features 2 short-circuit input and 2 short-circuit output ports for connecting additional security components. Status visualization icons provide intuitive feedback on the device’s operating state (e.g., power, network connection, access status), simplifying maintenance and monitoring.

    Application Scenarios

Owing to its robust performance, multi-function integration, and environmental adaptability, the device is widely applicable in various scenarios. It is suitable for building access control (managing entry to commercial buildings), apartment complexes (controlling visitor access to residential units), school dormitories (ensuring student safety and restricting unauthorized entry), residential communities (enhancing perimeter security), warehouses (protecting stored goods from theft), and villas (providing personalized home security). In each scenario, it delivers reliable access control, clear audio/video communication, and durable protection—meeting the diverse security needs of different users.
In summary, the i33V/i33VF SIP video access control device stands out for its integration of security, communication, and environmental resilience. Its user-friendly design, high-quality audio-visual performance, robust protection, and flexible expansion capabilities make it a practical and reliable solution for modern security requirements, especially in outdoor and high-demand environments.

Q

What is ATEX?

A

ATEX is the abbreviation of ATmosphères EXplosibles, a set of European Union (EU) directives and standards that regulate equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
These standards are designed to ensure that machinery, electrical devices, and related components do not become ignition sources in environments where flammable gases, vapors, mists, or combustible dusts may be present. ATEX applies to both equipment manufacturers within the EU and those exporting products to the EU market.

Q

What is IECEx?

A

IECEx is the abbreviation of the IEC System for Certification of Equipment for Use in Explosive Atmospheres. It is an international certification system developed and managed by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), aimed at facilitating the global trade of equipment and components used in potentially explosive environments.
The core objective of the IECEx system is to establish a unified set of standards and certification procedures that are recognized worldwide. This eliminates the need for manufacturers to obtain multiple separate certifications for different markets, thereby reducing technical barriers to trade and ensuring product safety consistency across regions.

Becke Telcom specializes in industrial explosion-proof comms for rail, tunnel, oil & gas, and marine sectors, offering PAGA, SOS, and IP telephones with integrated PA, intercom, and calling.
